The Missing Series by Margaret Peterson Haddix: Found

This book is amazing. Porcupine never went to our school's library until I got him to check out this book. It's that cool.
The book drew me in instantly and I'd give it a five star review.
          Genre: Sci-Fi/Mystery/Adventure/Historical Fiction/Young-Adult

SUMMARY:
John Skidmore is an ordinary boy. He's adopted sure, but he never lets that bother him, especially with those adopt-a-kid-and-make-him-feel-happy books. So yes, life is normal for John Skidmore, with his annoying preppy sister Katherine and his two loving parents. Soon, John meets a kid named Chip Winston, who had just moved into the neighborhood. They become fast friends. One day, Jonah receives a mysterious and creepy letter, saying just six words: YOU ARE ONE OF THE MISSING. He brushes it off as a prank until he finds out Chip was sent one too.
Why does both of them receive the letter? What is it that they had in common? After some breaking-and-entering in Chip's own house, they find out Chip is also adopted and that's their connection to those weird notes. Katherine, Jonah, and Chip then set out to find out that the letters are somehow linked to the shifty circumstances surrounding the two boys' adoptions. Their investigating leads them to questioning the FBI, and involving a man that can disappear and appear out of nowhere, a huge smuggling operation, and an airplane that appears out of thin air full of babies.
Margaret Peterson Haddix’s Found is the first action-packed novel in the exciting “The Missing” series and it has many plot twists and involves time travel.
